Participatory event

Please not that because this conference tries to be a participatory event (which means that we would like to create a space for dialog between all the conference participants and not only between speakers), participation in the entire day is highly recommended.

The conference is free of charge.

 

Hotel

All participants are responsible for their own accommodation booking.

Please, kindly note that the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Luxembourg will not be able to cover or reimburse any costs for travel and accommodation.

With the aim to ensure balanced participation of all individuals, the organisers reserve the right to refuse registrations.

Please, wait until you receive the confirmation email before booking any arrangements.

 

How to reach the main venue?

From Brussels Airport to West Midlands Europe Hub (the venue) by Public transports

There are various regular connections from the airport to Brussels-Schuman station. Trains and busses (Line 12) run daily more or less every 30 minutes.

By train, the travel time is approximately 30 minutes and the ticket price is at €8,90.

Tickets can be purchased directly online or at the airport from ticket machines.

The drive from the airport to the venue will take approximately 20 minutes and the rate is around 50€. Transfers by taxi will not be reimbursed by the organisers

At the venue

The welcome & registration desks are located on the ground floor of the building, at the glass cube entrance and they will be operational from 08:30 on the 24 March 2020.

Please note that all participants will have to pass through registration before entering the rooms. Therefore, we suggest to arrive well in time at the venue.

Interpretation

Interpretation for all plenary sessions will be provided in English, French,  German, Hungarian and Romanian.

In exchange for the interpretation headset, you will be requested to leave a piece of identification (ID, passport or drivers license)  when you collect your badge.

Wi-Fi

There is a Wi-Fi Internet connection for all participants at the venue.
