Creating bridges with Estonia’s University of Tartu

Martiene Grootens, Marie-Curie research fellow at the University of Tartu, Estonia, visited the Department of Geography University of Luxembourg from 25^th – 28^th of July 2017. Her research deals with the role of local public leaders in peripheral regions of both Estonia and the Netherlands. The meeting allowed establishing bridges between a finishing research project on new patterns of regional disparities in Central and Eastern Europe (FP7 ITN RegPol2, http://www.regpol2.eu/) and our starting RELOCAL project.
